repairVideo cut off when the battery died
The camera or phone switched off while recording. The video does not open.
What happened?
- The device could not finish the recording; the file was left unfinished.
What to do
- If you use an SD card, set its write protection (WP) switch and keep it.
- Do not format the card or record on it.
- If the camera offers a repair when the card goes back in, say no; the broken file can be deleted. Copy the card first.
- Upload the original file to our site.
What comes back?
- The part recorded before the cut can come back.
- The last second or two is often lost.
