repairUSB stick or memory card is not recognised
The computer does not see the stick, asks to format it or shows no files.
What to do
- Do not click "Format".
- If you use an SD card, set its write protection (WP) switch and keep it.
- Do not keep trying it in other computers or card readers.
- Do not copy anything onto it.
Our lab
- Bring the stick or the card to our lab.
- Or, with a code from our lab, send a read-only image of it over the internet; the stick stays with you.
- We repair the videos we find and hand them to you.
